SENSATION WHITE
Sensation is an indoor dance-event which originated in the Netherlands and organized by ID&T. The original event, which ran exclusively in the Amsterdam Arena for a period of five years until 2005, is now located throughout Poland, Spain, Chile, Germany,Belgium, Hungary, Czech Republic, Latvia, Russia, Denmark, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania (starting 2010) and Brazil.
In 2008, it was announced that for the first time Sensation would be held on New Year's Eve in Melbourne, Australia as well as in Dusseldorf, Germany and Barcelona, Spain.
n 2000 and 2001, it was made up of one edition, just called Sensation, but it has now been split up into two editions: Sensation Black and Sensation White. This was done to differentiate the music and feeling more than would have been possible if it were one event. Sensation Black focuses more on 'darker' music, like Hardstyle and Hardcore, whereas Sensation White focuses more on Trance. Every year, Sensation also releases two doublediscs (Black and White) and two singles they call the Anthem. 2008 the names of both events have been changed: ”Sensation“ (formerly ”Sensation White“), and ”Black“ (formerly ”Sensation Black“).
The first edition of Sensation, in 2000, did not sell out. The media announced that it was sold out in order to boost interest in the event, which eventually attracted 20,000 people. In this first edition, the DJs only used one side of the Amsterdam Arena as the stage. Later editions have the stage in the middle. This Sensation was the only one that did not have a dress code. All subsequent editions of Sensation White have sold out, usually well in advance (usually all 40,000 tickets are sold in a few hours). Sensation Black has not been as successful, but is usually either close to selling out, or sold out a few days before the event.
In 2005, Sensation White was also held in Belgium and Germany. In 2006, ID&T started Sensation International, an international tour, based on the simplified version which could be seen in the Amsterdam ArenA, in 2005. The first edition was held in the Antwerp Sportpaleis. In 2008 Sensation White was held at SCC Peterburgsky in Saint Petersburg, and a New Year version was held at theTelstra dome in Melbourne on the 31 December 2008 which sets a new World Record with the most partygoers ever visiting the World's Leading Dance Event (38.380 participants).
ARMIN VAN BUUREN
ARMIN VAN BUUREN: born in Leiden, Netherlands, on 25 December 1976. Van Buuren is a recognized DJ and producer of music trance. He was voted by the readers of the magazine DJ Magazine the disc jockey number 1 of the world in 2007, 2008 and 2009.Armin van Buuren was fascinated by the music from very early age.It has been said that this is due to the fact that his father listened varied musical genres, and by his inseparable friend Maik Tilt, the 14 years bought its first sampler, borrowed the synthesizer of his father, and began to produce music.Armin sent a demo of his songs to Ben Liebrand and as a result Liebrand took appreciation to the music of van Buuren. The short time, Ben and Armin began to produce and mix together. Armin has been a highly ambitious person:It has studied, produced and has been a DJ at the same time. The musician has said that the only way to do something is if you like to do. Van Buuren wrote this song by using the pseudonym of Rising Star. "Free" went to the market by R&S Records and the short time produced "4 Elements" with Captivating Sounds, sub-division of Time Warner, using the pseudonym Gaia.At that time van Buuren and DJ - got together and worked together on two projects: Major League, which resulted in the production of "Wonder Where You Are?" and Alibi, a project that gave birth to the simple entitled "Eternity." Major League joined Blackhole Records (which is owned by DJ -) and Alibi formed part of Armind. The following draft van Buuren was the collaboration with Ferry Corsten entitled "Exhale" and was launched as a production of System F.The launch of "Exhale" caused quite shock and in less than a month was awarded a gold record for the number of sales that generated.In conjunction with friends partners founded NAVY Records, a project that was the name to the initials of ARmin, MAykel and DAve. Without the intention, the seal bears the same name, which the magnificent naval force of the spanish golden age.It is noteworthy that Armin is fond of navigation web.In June 2001 premiered the radio program called A State of Trance (known as ASOT) in the dutch broadcaster ID&T, which benefited from Armin van Buuren as host. faithless:es un grupo musical británico cuya música es descrita como una mezcla entre Hip-Hop,y dance. Mientras sus éxitos son en su mayoría de estilo dance.Los miembros principales de Faithless son Maxi Jazz,Sister Bliss y Rollo. Maxi Jazz es el vocalista, rapeando y elevando la música ambiental y eufórica a un nivel espiritual y sociopolítico en muchas de sus letras, mientras Sister Bliss es una de las mejores DJ femeninas en el mundo, sin mencionar su talento con el piano, violín, saxo y bajo, construye la mayor parte de la música mientras Rollo encabeza y produce el estilo único de la banda. Este duo está formado por: Ali "Dubfire" Shirazinia y Sharam Tayebi. La nacionalidad de sus integrantes es bastante peculiar, ya que son Iranies Estadunidense,osea que son de origen Irani pero estan nacionalizados en Estados Unidos.Este dui fue formado en 1992 siempre al estilo House,se les considera entre los creadores del género Deep House.han participado mezclando las canciones de The Rolling Stones,Pet Shop Boys,Tina Turner,Michael Jackson,Madona,Cher,Eminem,entre otros.En el año 2006 son considerados los Dj número 10 del mundo por la prestigiosa revista DJMAG y según la revista THE DJLIST ocuparon el lugar 7 en ese mismo año.Deep Dish gano el Grammy por el remix Thank You.En el año 2008 el duo se separo, "Ali" ahora se declina por un tech-house mas minimalista, mientras que "Sharam" sigue mas con el estilo que caracterizo a DeepDish.

MONIKA KRUSE
MONIKA KRUSE: nació el 21 de Julio de 1971 en Berlin. Desde que comenzó a tomar lecciones de piano, la música ha sido una parte muy importante de su vida.Después del bachillerato trabajó como practicante, en varias partes, entre otras, en una revista de música y en una empresa que promociona grupos musicales.
Al mismo tiempo trabajó de modelo y ganó dinero para comprar una gran colección de discos.
Más tarde aceptó un puesto de dirigente en la empresa musical Chrisalis, donde acompañó a grupos como Gang Starr y Monie Love.en 1991 toco por primera vez como DJ en Munich su estilo influido en Hip Hop y Funk pero contenía los primeros discos del estilo House.en 1993 fue miembro del equipo “Ultraworld“ con el cual promocionaba fiestas Techno en Munich y abrió el Club “Ultraschall“. Monika Kruse fue el DJ resident desde el principio.En 1995 Monika Kruse hizo sus primeras producciones musicales con Richard Bartz (Acid Scout)tenia salida a Londres,Estocolmo y Chicago.1997 fue publicada su primera canción como solista en una recopilación,Siguió su segundo Mix-Disco y un año más tarde Monika Kruse fundó su primera empresa musical “Terminal M”.En 2000 Monika tocó la ceremonia final del LOVE PARADE en Berlín frente a un millón y medio de personas y en octubre, del mismo año, publicó su tercer Mix - disco, En 2001 Monika presentó su primer álbum Panorama que produjo junto con Patrick Lindsey.En 2003 Monika fundó su segunda empresa musical “Electric Avenue Recordings” que se dirige a la música más tranquila de género House, su canción Latin Lovers fue el hit del verano 2003 con la primera posición en los “Dance Charts”, en los Países Bajos y una posición en los últimos 20 de la lista de los éxitos de España.A fines de 2007, Monika terminará con su fiesta “No Historical Backspin” y una salida a la fiesta electrónica más grande de Alemania:SENSATION WHITE en Duesseldorf.En Septiembre 2008 Monika Kruse publica Changes of Perception, su primer álbum en solitario. En Changes of Perception, Monika ha contado con la ayuda de Gregor Tresher en la producción.
DJ DERO
DJ Dero (nombre real es Ezequiel Dero), nació en Buenos Aires (Argrntina), el 10 de julio de 1968. Es un productor, remixer y DJ de música electrónica de los estilos House, Electro House, Techno y Eurodance. El trance es un género de la musica electronica, compuesto por sonidos sintéticos, acordes largos con progresión larga, atmósferas envolventes,arpegios, en ocasiones sonidos ácidos, base rítmica de percusion, graves redondos y melodías muy elaboradas.
Existen 3 teorías o tres focos principales de inicio: uno de ellos sería una evolución del ambient house de Ibiza; otra teoria seria colocar sus inicios en Frankfurt y Berlín, en el contexto de la caida del muro de Berlín; otros opinan que la escena procede de la IDM. Lo único claro es que se trata de un género postrave.su frecuencia por lo general es de 130 BPM,las melodias son largas y evolucionan a lo largo del tiempo.los efectos como el eco la reverberacion el flanger,el delay y el filtrado se suelen utilizar en la composicion de este estilo de musica.el trance tiene varias ramas entre ellas esta el progressive trance,este es un subgénero con ritmos y plugs más lentos que el trance puro. Otras ramas del trance son el uplifting trance es el que más nos recuerda a los sonidos enérgicos de la época de finales de los 90. existen ramas más fuertes como el hardtrance el tech trance y el acid trance, caracterizado por sonidos trance con melodías ácidas y con efectos de filtrado y delay.
PAUL VAN DYK:Nacio el 16 de diciembre de 1971 en Eisenhuttenstadt,Brandeburgo,Alemania,su nombre real es Matthias Paul,comenzó su carrera musical en el club berlinésTurbine en 1991,Cuando van Dyk nació, Eisenhüttenstadt se encontraba en la Republica Democratica Alemana por lo cual tuvo que valerse del contrabando de casetes de música que provenían del extranjero para poder escuchar la música de aquella época.Fue entonces cuando Paul comenzó a hacer mezclas de canciones para sus amigos.
