ARMIN VAN BUUREN: born in Leiden, Netherlands, on 25 December 1976. Van Buuren is a recognized DJ and producer of music trance. He was voted by the readers of the magazine DJ Magazine the disc jockey number 1 of the world in 2007, 2008 and 2009.Armin van Buuren was fascinated by the music from very early age.It has been said that this is due to the fact that his father listened varied musical genres, and by his inseparable friend Maik Tilt, the 14 years bought its first sampler, borrowed the synthesizer of his father, and began to produce music.Armin sent a demo of his songs to Ben Liebrand and as a result Liebrand took appreciation to the music of van Buuren. The short time, Ben and Armin began to produce and mix together. Armin has been a highly ambitious person:It has studied, produced and has been a DJ at the same time. "Free" went to the market by R&S Records and the short time produced "4 Elements" with Captivating Sounds, sub-division of Time Warner, using the pseudonym Gaia.At that time van Buuren and DJ - got together and worked together on two projects: Major League, which resulted in the production of "Wonder Where You Are?" and Alibi, a project that gave birth to the simple entitled "Eternity." Major League joined Blackhole Records (which is owned by DJ -) and Alibi formed part of Armind. The following draft van Buuren was the collaboration with Ferry Corsten entitled "Exhale" and was launched as a production of System F.The launch of "Exhale" caused quite shock and in less than a month was awarded a gold record for the number of sales that generated.In conjunction with friends partners founded NAVY Records, a project that was the name to the initials of ARmin, MAykel and DAve. Without the intention, the seal bears the same name, which the magnificent naval force of the spanish golden age.It is noteworthy that Armin is fond of navigation web.In June 2001 premiered the radio program called A State of Trance (known as ASOT) in the dutch broadcaster ID&T, which benefited from Armin van Buuren as host. A State Of Trance is an agenda for two hours transmitting the Thursday of each week with major developments in music Trance and Progressive.One of the reasons for which the program told so successfully, apart from its quality and its rapid dissemination on the internet via P2P and sites devoted to the music Trance,in 2004 Armin announced that, due to the change of license issuance of ID&T it would leave the electronic music to move to the Pop.
